Big hearts with small buggets … sound familiar? My beautiful friend Serena asked if I would design her wedding invitations, while wanting them to be cute and unique, but also within her allowed bugget. No problem! I find most wedding invitations gorge themselves on layers and layers of papers and envelopes, so I knew for this project we would cut the fat (save trees and save money … win, win!). The invitation was designed as one piece which tri-folded into a A-6 envelope. The bottom fold was perforated so that the guest could detach and send back to the wedding party as a RSVP postcard. A little leaf insert was included with registry information and a rubber stamp was used to sign the bride and grooms names on the back of the card. The tree illustration was inspired by the wedding location, which is outdoors in an adorable park with a giant oak directly in the center.
