My fabulous friend Bonnie traveled overseas this year and made a sweet connection with the beautifully talented folks at FROH! Magazine from Köln, Germany. Froh translates to ‘Gladly!’ (excellent name choice). Bonnie passed along my name as a able illustrator which lead to the awesome opportunity for my first internationally published illustration! I highly recommend brushing up on your German and checking out the full magazine online here.

Some very talented friends blessed me with a visit a couple days ago. While we drank wine, watched marching bands, rode bikes at night, made salsa, swung on hammocks, sipped coffee, we also recorded over an hour of songs and sounds. During my short lived yet sweet intern with Absolutely Kosher Records I cranked out this little poster for their monthly ‘Happy Hour’ promotional. I’d been wanting to incorporate that line illustration for sometime. I feel much better now.

my dear friend ilah was gifted a collection of stain glass supplies and kindly invited me over to play. Stain glass windows fascinated me as a child in the old church buildings I visited and today that fascination continues strong. So say so long to only building having fun, put on a pair of stain glass glasses and unlock a little wonder.

Wine Label for Illahe Vineyards. With the resent release of Illahe’s Reserve and Grand Reserve Pinot Noir, they wanted a label that reflected the elegance and high quality of these specialty wines. Paying tribute to Illahe’s important connection with the earth which is key to their delicious grapes, I created a watercolor painting of layered soil to base the label. Printed with a copper ink, the label has a wonderful iridescent look. Order a yummy bottle of your own (or to share) here.
